Pixie Dust

It's release week at Kindred Stamps and I have 3 cards that I am so excited to share with you! 

My first card shows off the new Pixie Dust Slimline Stencil paired with the Kindred Stamps Happily Ever After Glitter Gloss. I used Pixie Spray to hold my stencil down while I added the Glitter Gloss which allowed me to easily reposition the stencil from the top edge to the bottom edge. 

I used Catherine Pooler Blue Suede Shoes ink to stamp a sentiment from the new Pixie Dust stamp set and placed it in the center of the trails of pixie dust. 

For the adorable fairy from the Pixie Dust stamp set, I colored her up with Copic markers and added blue Wink of Stella to her wings which made them SO sparkly! I stamped out the "I believe in you" sentiment onto dark blue paper, and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I added the "pixie dust" above that and mixed a sparkly embossing powder with WOW Opaque Bright White powder. I positioned my fairy over the dust.

Next, I started to build my TV using the amazing new TV Time Die from Kindred Stamps. I began by blending brown ink over a burgundy piece of card stock to darken the paper to a "cherry wood" color. Then I used a darker brown ink smudged into a Tim Holtz 3D Woodgrain Embossing folder and put it through my die cut machine. I was REALLY happy with the end results.

Next, I used roughed up some gold foiled paper to make it look aged. I used this for the "dials" and other details of the TV. For the TV antenna, I pushed the ball end of the i-press in small circles on the back which made the paper kinda rounded like an old timey antenna! I went a head and repeated that process the entire TV, 

I wanted this to pop up on the inside of the card the i-crafter Hello Sunshine wiper die and mounted the TV to the front of it.

Next, I used these two adolecents from "Pixie Dust" for a slimline card using the Kraftgali Stitched Scallop Slimline dies I created a starry sky using Color Burst Powders and Crafter Companion glittery watercolors for them to fly off into.

For my last card, I paired the Kindred Stamps Dragon Scale Stencil with the crocodile from the Pixie Dust stamp set. To start, I dry embossed a bright green cardstock using the Dragon Scale stencil, then ink blended 2 darker shades of green over top.

I colored the crocodile from the Pixie Dust stamp set using Copic markers and put him on a circle die cut from The Stamp Doctor. I layered this over a 1.75" strip of dark brown that I had heat embossed "after a while crocodile" from the Pixie Dust stamp set.

I wrapped a bit of plain white twine around the brown strip. To finish the card off I used a few Hazelnut DoubleClickSkittles sprinkled across the stenciled scales!

Witch Please!

Hello friends,

I'm showing off a fun new set from Kindred Stamps today called Witch Please, this set will be available on Friday, September 27th! This set features a lovely little lady, and her ever-watching cat.

I started by coloring the friends up using Copic Markers. I kept them simple with no fuss. 

Next, I went to work building a fantastic background for them to have behind them. I wanted it to look like nighttime in front of the family graveyard. The back of the card front is a light gray (I know it looks white but that's just the lighting!) I took a white piece of cardstock and blended Catherine Pooler's Twilight ink over it lightly. I got a new stencil from Stencilgirl that has the neatest looking clouds and used it with Deco Foil Metallix Black Ice and of course, my Stencil Pal, to make a bluster evening full of menacing clouds.

Next I took to my Jane Davenport die cutting machine (because it's mermaid, duh) and used a set of dies from Stampin up to build the family graveyard. I wanted the background to be darker so I went with black for the tree and ground there, and gray headstones.  The fence and my foreground grass I used color to bring us forward to the friends who are in full color!

For my sentiment, I used a set of banner dies from The Stamp Doctor, that aren't released, yet but I use this set constantly because it allows me to layer my banners, and has tons of sizes so I get exactly the right size! First, I stamped my sentiment using Nocturne VersaFine Clair on a red scrap that matches my girl's sweater and headband. I layered that over a scrap of white sparkly paper. 

To finish off, I added a few bat sequins I had picked up at Target last year!

Teen Detectives Box

Hi friends!

It's no mystery that we are excited about our newest Limited Edition box at Kindred Stamps! The theme this time around? Teen Detectives! This box includes a 6"x8" stamp set, a custom paper pack, a custom washi tape, a loose glitter pot, and an amazing stencil; there are a few other things, I just can't think of them right now.

Any who, I created 3 fun projects using this set, take a look...

My first project involves two of the detectives, and their furry counterpart! I colored the girl using Copics, but the boy and the dog were colored using Chameleon Markers. 

For the background, I started with a grey paper, for a dusky sky feel. The trees are different shades of green scrap paper I had in my overflowing scrap drawer, cut out using an old Stampin' Up Christmas tree die set. I layered the different sizes and shades to feel like a forest.  I had planned on just placing the kids and dog in front of the trees, but because I had used different dimensional adhesives to layer, there was an odd gap beneath them. I decided a road using Tonic Expanding Mousse, I mixed about 5 different colors, attempting to make brown. I ended up with more of a gray, and it looked like a gravel road after heating it with the heat gun!

I typically leave the insides of my cards blank, but... this sentiment just seemed perfect to me! I used Catherine Pooler Orange Twist (which matches the girl's sweater!) and stamped it out right in the center of my card.

Next, I wanted to use the awesome tie dye stencil included in the Teen Detectives Box. Brianne had done an awesome background on white, so I decided to go with a black background and used Distress Oxide inks and my toothbrush makeup brushes to create a tie dye background. Next, I used a Stampin' Up Star die to cut out the center of the card to let the blue base show through.

I always felt these two kiddos had that "young love" thing going on so they felt perfect to make a "love card!" I used banner dies from The Stamp Doctor to cut out the two sentiment banners, and placed them in opposite corners. I finished my card off with a few sequins from the box.

My last card, I had no more teens left to use, nor the energy to color up more. I did have this fantastic star cut out from my other card though... and the custom washi tape included in the Teen Detectives box! I layered 5 strips of the washi tape onto my white cardstock, then used foam adhesive to pop up my tie dye star. 

On my star, I used Brutus Monroe Alabastar Embossing Powder to emboss my sentiment from the Teen Detectives stamp set. Then I took a small brush and Tonic Crystal Glaze and brushed it over and around the sentiment, I used the loose glitter in the box to dust over it. The glaze really allowed the glitter to stay put and not fall off!

I finished the card with some of the sequins in the Shaker Pack included in this box!

Time to Celebrate with Kindred Birthday!

Hi friends! I absolutely love this new set from Kindred Stamps!  We felt like we needed a good birthday set, enter "Kindred Birthday".  This is a 6"x8" set that has something for everyone. 

I decided to throw Audra a birthday party with Molly and Evan for this card.  I stamped these three friends out using my Catherine Pooler Midnight ink. I wanted to create my own background, so I left them on one piece of cardstock rather than cutting them out.  They were colored using Copics and Spica markers, then accented a bit using Wink of Stella.  My background is simple using Copics. 

For my sentiment, I decided to use two from "Kindred Birthday" instead of just one. "Happy birthday" is heat embossed using WOW purple embossing powder.  Next, I used "Not A Day Over Amazing" down below my peeps, this was heat embossed using WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder.  I added a few Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals throughout the card to accent and give something to catch your eye.

I layered the card front onto a piece of retired Stampin' Up DSP that has a fun candle pattern. Lastly, I put all of this on a white cardbase.

Nuts About You

Hello again friends! I'm back with the newest Kindred Stamps release! Today, I have 3 cards using "Nuts About You" which will be available on Friday, July 26th at 8am PST/11am EST.  This 3"x4" set features two adorable chipmunks, and some punny sentiments that make me happy!

I used Ink On 3's Fade-Out ink with my MISTI to stamp out two pairs of these little dudes. Then I colored them with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I am absolutely smitten with how they turned out.

My first card features the sentiment "I'm nuts about you". I picked one of my little guys and built the card around him. First, I went ahead and heat embossed a strip of acorns on pink cardstock using Brutus Monroe Sand Castle powder. This was cut down to a thin strip and layered it onto a piece of Stampin Up Crumb Cake cardstock for my card base. On the base, I heat embossed a little "Aww" using a Lindy's Gang pink powder, below where I wanted to put my chipmunk.

 I used the new Kindred Stamps Sunshine Glitter Gloss on white cardstock over the Kindred Stamps Hearts and Dots Stencil to create a textured patterned paper. I cut out pieces of this using a set of The Stamps of Life heart dies after it had dried. I layered these around the card using foam tape and Therm O Web Ultra Bond glue. 

To finish this card up, I layered the base onto a bright yellow cardstock that matches that Sunshine Glitter Gloss to form my card, I really like using colored cardstock for cards, I feel like it's a nice change from the typical white. For my sentiment, I heat embossed "I'm nuts about you" in the same Sand Castle embossing powder on the same pink cardstock as I had done the acorns. I layered that onto a piece of the yellow cardstock after die cutting them both to create a little layered banner. Finally, I placed the chipmunk in the midst of it all for him to shine.

My next card didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped. I wanted to create an alcohol ink background and use Ink Lift to pull up acorns in the background. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert with alcohol inks and ended up layering it too thick for this to work well! So, instead, I cut my background down into three smaller squares. I layered these onto a piece of Echo Park's Fall paper pad. I arranged the squares over a strip of gold glitter cardstock so it just barely peeks through with a bit of shine. 

Next, I used Alcohol Lift-Ink to pull up acorns and then stamped them onto white cardstock. I created a little stack of them creating a background. These look faint in the photo, but in person, they look great! I put all of this onto another piece of the same Echo Park paper, I just flipped it over so the other side's pattern showed instead of the cool blue.

 I love the buildable sentiments in this set, they are fun, and a bit punny, which is completely my sense of humor! "Sorry for driving you nuts" was my pick for this card, I stamped it onto a banner from an old card kit. Last, I put my little guy on a piece of brown scrap and trimmed around him to create a border, I placed him off to the side a bit so you could still see the acorn stack. 

My last card, is my favorite! I wanted to work in the Christmas in July concept. I used both chipmunks for this card. I started by stamping a tree from an old Stampin' Up set in Catherine Pooler Sage ink on to a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park. I added a few rhinestones to the tree for decorations, some I left clear, some I colored using a blue Sharpie, I feel like they look like little crystal ornaments. I used a Uchida Snow Marker to create a thin layer of snow on the ground below the tree.

I placed a chipmunk on either side of the tree, added some adorable Santa hat stickers from Michael's, and then the Candy Cane die set from The Stamp Doctor to place a candy cane in each of their hands.

Next, I stamped the family sentiment onto a tag from an old card kit using Catherine Pooler Samba ink. I strung the tag onto a sliver ribbon, and added a few large glue dots to the back of the tag to hold it in place. I wanted to add "Merry Christmas" to the card so I used The Stamp Doctor's new Tiny Alphabet dies to cut the letters from a piece of glitter cardstock that I ink blended Samba onto and arranged them on the other side of the tree.

My final touch was a layer of Wink of Stella clear onto the snow to add a bit of sparkle to the card! The card turned out better than I had originally imagined it, which doesn't happen often for me.

Once Upon A Nap

Hi daydreamers! I've got a few fantastic cards using Kindred Stamps new "Once Upon A Nap" stamp set. I absolutely adore this set and had tons of ideas right away.

I started with the princess and her fairy godmothers. I colored them with Copics, for the princess I colored her twice so I could have her dress change colors. I used a Stampin' Up Flip Card die for the base and back cardstock. Then I layered the left panel with paper from Echo Park's Princess paper pad. I put the green fairy on the blue panel and added a few sequins around her. 

My princess in pink went on the flip, with Wink of Stella to add some glittery magic behind her. I then moved to the right panel and put the pink and blue fairies with sequins around them. My sentiment was stamped in Catherine Pooler "Lime Rickey" ink.  I had a boo-boo to cover up, so I added a few flowers that I punched out of adhesive backed paper. 

Next, I opened the card and added the blue princess backed with blue Wink of Stella for magic. 

I added more paper from the Echo Park Princess paper pad to the back, and white to the other panel for a space to write in.

Next, I used the villain for make a simple, but kinda fantastic card. I colored her in Copics, and added some Nuvo Glossy Drops to the ball and her collar. 

I used a frame die and Gold Mirror Paper from The Stamp Doctor to create a mirror frame. I used Silver Mirror Paper for the mirror surface. I just got the new Stazon Pigment inks and used the purple to stamp on the shiny surface. In order to protect the mirror surface I added a layer of acetate behind the frame. I also used a light grey distress oxide brushed onto the frame to distress and age it a bit.

I finished the card by adding the villain to the bottom right. Simple but awesome right? 

My last card, I used the prince! This guy is dapper and super fun to color. I used the Navy Metallic Paper from The Stamp Doctor for the background. I wanted to create a cloud background so I used the Memory Box Mini Cloud stencil that I picked up from Kraftgali. I used Nuvo Embellishing Mousse in Mother of Pearl and my Stencil Pal from Therm O Web to put the clouds on the cardstock. 

I added a die cut cloud edge to the bottom of the card and stamped my sentiment in the red Stazon Pigment. I finished the card by adding my prince.

Playing with Power Packs! Long Hair, Don't Care

Holy cow, I have the coolest thing to share today! My good friend Amanda from Pear Blossom Press is launching a fantastic new item called a "Power Pack," this is a way to safely and easily create your own light up cards and is compatible with Chibitronics leds! I'm going to share my card, and then you have an awesome chance to win some amazing prizes by hopping our Mega Blog Hop... Amanda is doing it a neat way to enter, each time you comment on a blog, you're entered, because 20 blogs is a TON... but also, we are all excited about this product.

I decided to use the Kindred Stamps "Long Hair, Don't Care" stamp set... because this needed to be lit up! I created my circuit to light up a single lantern that was hand-carved by Audra years ago. After my circuit was created I started to build my card face. I used navy cardstock, then took the Kindred Stamps "Moon and Stars" stencil, and some silver Cosmic Shimmer Gliding Wax to create the background. I chose a small square die cut to create a hole in that background for the LED to shine through. I added a stitched border using The Stamp Doctor A2 Stitch Dies.

I couldn't locate my grass die cut, so I used my Scan 'n Cut to cut a layer of grass on a dark mossy colored cardstock. Then placed 3 of the characters from "Long Hair, Don't Care" front and center! These were colored using Copic markers. 

Next,,, I stamped my lantern on vellum using a Stamp 'n Write marker from Stampin' Up, then hand cut it. I glued it onto my background using a liquid adhesive from Thermoweb, I shy away from vellum because it's tricky to get to stick without showing lines. If I was doing it over, I would probably still use this adhesive, but cover the lantern's back more fully so that it was less splotchy.

Next, I used a dark grey cardstock (the same color that my circuit was built on) to put my sentiment on, I decided to emboss with Ink On 3's Embossing Ink and some beautiful WOW Gold Pearl Embossing Powder that I got from Kraftgali. I used some foam adhesive to pop the sentiment up. My last touch was adding a "Push Me" button to the card. I used Stampin' Up die cuts for both the sentiment and this button. Since I don't have any stamps that say it, I used a gold Sharpie to write it out.  I finished the card by mounting the card face and circuit to a card base that was trimmed in gold.

My tips after making my first light up card? 

• Definitely watch one of Amanda's videos on the Pear Blossom Press YouTube channel BEFORE you start your card, building one of these cards takes a little bit of pre-planning  (my kryptonite!)
• Draw out the circuit like she recommends in the video, visualizing it is only half the battle.
• Don't smooth the copper tape too much on the Power Pack corners, it may crack causing issues with getting it to light.
• Press firmly, the better the pressure, the better the light shines!

The last little bit from me, before I share some important info about these nifty little Power Packs, is a 30 second video. Be kind, I don't typically do videos, and hearing my own voice weirds me out, but I felt like it was necessary to get the full effect of this product!

Throwing it Back to a Time Of Peace and Love

Hi friends! I have a couple groovy cards to share with you today! I'm showing off the cards I designed using the newest Kindred Stamps set, "Peace and Love". 

My first card shows is a no-line "faux" watercolor version of the van that is in this set. It's literally my favorite piece of this set. I used Ink On 3's Fade Out Ink to stamp, then watercolored using Catherine Pooler Inks, and a Tombow Blender marker.

Next, I stamped out the lava lamp and the peace sign using more Catherine Pooler inks to create a patterned paper strip. I layered both the van and my patterned paper onto some black cardstock to really have those colors POP! I added a few gem flowers to the side after stacking these panels.

To finish the card, I used a set of layered banner die cuts, and stamped out the sentiment. 

My second card, I remembered making a gatefold card a few years back that I thought would be really fun to use for this idea. I colored my little hippie girl out, again, no-line, I used a light tan Memento ink this time since it's what I had on me, I prefer the Ink On 3 Fade Out ink, but made due. I used Copics to color this time. Next, I decided to put her in a frame from a Lawn Fawn die cut set that I had picked up from Kraftgali a while back. Behind her, I used a kind of wallpaper feeling patterned paper, and for the frame, I used a light grey distressed looking patterned paper. 

To build the card itself, I kinda just winged it. I played with measurements of the sides until I was happy, then layered panels I created using Catherine Pooler Be Mine ink and the Kindred Stamps "Basket Weaver".  I added the framed hippie, and a few peace signs to "embellish", then placed the sentiment going vertically up the card.  To close the card, I used a couple of banner "flags" and a heart die that I placed so they closed interlocked, then a piece of pink twine was added for good measure!

I have been trying to create more birthday and celebration cards, and my mom complained that my cards don't have sentiments inside, so I added a second sentiment from the "Peace and Love" set to the inside with the same Lime Rickey ink from Catherine Pooler that I used for the peace signs. Tada! Birthday card for the stash!

Doggy Kisses and Puppy Love

I got to play with some of the cutest stamps yesterday, Art Impression's Doggy Kisses, that I got from Kraftgali! I love how thin the lines on these stamps are, it's almost like doing no-line when your brain needs the lines. (HA!) 

My first card is using a wrapped up wiener dog! My best friend has three of these little loves, and this one reminds me of Pretzel, he has a long body and at times high centers on things.  So I colored him a chocolaty brown that reminded me of Mr. Pretzel. His bandages I colored in light earth tones and varied every other one. 

I used paper from Sunny Studios that I also got at Kraftgali for the bottom of the card, and a scrap of purple for the top. I received some beautiful sequins in a package from a crafty friend and felt like they matched this rainbow theme. For the sentiment, I chose "Heard It's Been Ruff" since I thought it worked well for mental health and physical health too! I stamped on a scalloped oval by Stampin' Up in Catherine Pooler's Be Mine ink.

My next card also uses the Art Impressions set from Kraftgali. I used the puppy with his teddy, because, well it's adorable. He was colored using Copics. I used a pale purple base to match the pup's slippers, then layered Stampin' Up's Brown Sugar Cardstock on top.

I had some LDRS Creative daisy cardstock that was a little smaller so I decided to center it with extra space on the top and bottom to change up the layout of my card. I used foam tape and popped it up. I glued the pup to the bottom and hung him off the edge of the patterned paper. Next, I placed a Stampin' Up heart patterned paper a in the center and to the right of the card. 

For the sentiment, I chose "Sit... Stay... Heal." I stamped it in Catherine Pooler's Fiesta Blue on a tag, I trimmed the tag down a bit and added some white & pink twine and popped it up on more foam tape.To embellish the card,  I used a shaker pack from Kindred Stamps,  I finished the card off with the band-aid on the Art Impression stamp set from Kraftgali, I thought placing it on the corner of the tag so it kind of bent of the sides was perfect.

Bookmarks Worth Reading For!

Hi again friends! 

Kindred Stamps hosted a make and take table at the Simon Says Create Event that happened March 15th & 16th (it was sold out, woah!) I was able to assist Audra in planning out our table's projects. We decided to use the especially popular, Little Town Life stamp set to make bookmarks.

I started by using the princess and stamping her out with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Next, I stamped her little friends using Gray Flannel Memento ink, I wanted them a little angled rather than stamped straight on. I then stamped the sentiment "choose your own adventure" in Catherine Pooler Tiara ink.

Then it was time to color! For her skin, I used Copic E13, E11, and E00. The dress is Y19, Y13, and Y11, the overlay, I used just Y11 and added a layer of Clear Wink of Stella for some sparkle. Her hair is E79, E57, and E23. I finished her with RV29 for the rose petals and YG67 for the leaf!  

I chose a pink ribbon that matched the rose to finish my bookmark. Now you've got the chance to make your own bookmark! Go grab Little Town Life and have some fun! I am excited to see your take on this project... want a bonus?

I decided to make one more bookmark, this one using the beastly prince from this set! I didn't keep track of the colors because I didn't have to pass them along for the project. For his fur, I varied several shades from the earth tone collection so it didn't all blend together. 

I began by stamping him with black Memento, then chose to use Catherine Pooler inks that fit with the character for the little friends. The feather duster was stamped in the same gray Memento from the first book mark. The sentiment "you're my favorite guy" was stamped in red VersaFine. The bookmark was finished off with a red ribbon with dots on it.

Long Hair, Don't Care!

It's no secret that I love princesses, fairytales, and magic. Today's card covers a little of all of those!

I got to play with Kindred Stamps new "Long Hair, Don't Care" stamp set and made my sweetie a Valentine (ok, maybe it was made after Valentine's Day... and he still hasn't actually received it... don't judge me!).

I started by coloring my characters up using Copic markers. I wanted to make her hair pale in some places and GLOW in others so I used extremely varied colors from the Y family. The horse I wanted to look more off-white with a light blonde/tan mane so I chose soft Earth tones to color him with.

My background, I built using the Kindred Stamps Forest Stencil which comes with the negative cuts too so masking it off to do the sky was nice and easy. The Catherine Pooler inks, which have fast become my favorites, I used Eucalyptus and Marti Gras for the trees, and Skylight for the sky. For the ground I used a green Distress Oxide. 

I layered my built background onto a yellow paper from Lawn Fawn's Really Rainbow paper pad which I added a stitched border using The Stamp Doctor's A2 Stitched Layers. I finished my card off with a banner from the same yellow and the sweet sentiment in Catherine Pooler Midnight.

Snow Day Card Making!

Hello again friends!

I am super excited to share the card I've made today, my little sister, Addison, asked me to make her a card and "surprise her" with the theme. Normally, I don't get to work with many stamps that aren't for team projects, that doesn't mean that I don't collect other's that I want to eventually work with! Today was a snow day from work, we have a bit of a winter storm going on here in Washington right now. Card making felt like the perfect thing to break up the movies and cleaning that have been running my life the last 4 days!

Addison is obsessed with unicorns, and I have accumulated a ton in my collection. Today, I broke out the "Be a Unicorn" set from The Greeting Farm. I absolutely LOVE the personality on these unicorns. I decided to do a watercolor technique that I learned at Creativation from Catherine Pooler using her ink pads.  On the unicorn on the left, I used All That Jazz and Be Mine, the unicorn on the right is Grape Crush and It's a Girl. I used the opposite color of the body on the girl's horns, then added a touch of Wink of Stella.

For the background, I used Altenew's Kind Confetti that I purchased from Kraftgali.  I stamped the confetti 3 times. I started with Catherine Pooler's Lime Rickey, then Something Borrowed, and finished with Royal Treatment. I love the fun pattern it created.  I went ahead and added the sentiment using silver Encore ink, "Do what makes you sparkle" completely fits my little sister's personality. 

I built off a white card base, then added some pink Mirror Card Stock from The Stamp Doctor. I added a strip of silver sparkly ribbon, then added my stamped base and adorable unicorns!

Science Geeks

Hi friends! It's been a while, and for that, I'm sorry! I am SUPER excited about the set that I get to share today. "Science Geeks" is full of cute characters, unique sentiments, and so much fun! I managed four cards with this set for you today.

My first features a cutie in a floral dress. I used some Lawn Fawn Sparkle Cardstock with our Kindred Stamps Sprinkles Stencil and created a sparkly background using Catherine Pooler inks. 

I colored my cutie with Copics, then paper pierced her dress using a floral paper from Simple Stories. I finished her off with a little Nuvo Glaze on her glasses. I layered the card with turquoise and pale yellow cardstock, and added a few enamel drops. I thought this was the perfect birthday card, so I added this awesome sentiment to finish it off.

My next card features two cute lovebirds. I used some retired Stampin' Up DSP, then layered on top of it with some grey card stock that I patterned myself by off-setting the Kindred Stamps Comic Dots stencil with two Catherine Pooler inks. 

My lovebirds are again, colored with Copic markers, and the mister is finished with Nuvo Glaze on his glasses. My sentiment, I decided on the "you matter" stamp, because I freaking love it. I put the sentiment on the Lawn Fawn "say what? gift tags die, it fit perfectly... so why not! 

My next card has the awkward couple... who personally, I think rock! I started with the Catherine Pooler Peppermint Stick background stamp, I wanted to show how "Christmas" items can be used throughout the year. I used the Be Mine ink, to make it perfect for a Valentine's Day card. 

I used a retired Unity stamp set with a couch to create a spot to give. I kept the theme of soft colors with the patterned paper and added the sentiment to a banner on Kraft paper on top of them. My couple is colored with Copic markers, and again, Nuvo Glaze for the finishing touches on her glasses. My card was finished using the Kindred Stamps Sweet Love Shaker Pack.

My last card it one cool dude. I colored him with Copics, and wanted to keep the card fairly simple. I used the Kindred Stamps Spaceship Paneling Stencil with blue and black Catherine Pooler inks. I wanted it to look like an atom... I'm probably totally off though haha.

I added the cool dude to the center of my "atom" after coloring him with Copics. I finished it off with a red square and this super fun sentiment which I popped up foam tape to add some dimension. I hope that you enjoyed my take on Kindred Stamps Science Geeks.
