I have some adorable tags to share with you today! I used the Beth Duff Designs set "Better Together" for a set of 4 tags, which may not seem like a lot, but tags and I don't get along, I really struggle with them. I have a plethora of tags that sit in a drawer in my craft room, so I went ahead and grabbed a few to pair with my "Better Together" images.
I started with this little cup of soda! It is so happy and the sentiment paired perfectly with it I think, I used Delicata ink in a dark blue so there is a little shine to it. Next I added some Studio Katia - Clear Round Drops from Kraftgali and some dark pink enamel drops to give the tag a bubbly feeling!
My next tag uses the pizza from "Better Together", I kept the base a simple blue and added a couple of scalloped circles that were in my stash. The large one hung over the edges so I trimmed it up after mounting it. I love the punny sentiment to pair with the pizza! I tried to make my pizza have a bit of a toasted look for the crust. I added a couple Double ClickSkittles to finish off this tag.
The fries in "Better Together" are SO cute, I tried to color the little fry holder in a shaded look and the fries themselves are in a combination of light Earth tones and Yellows. I went a little rustic with the color scheme of this tag, using some skinny banners, which I didn't glue down all the way so they free flow a bit. These I taped under a light blue circle die cut. My sentiment on this one, I stamped in Ink On 3 black in, onto another tag, which I then cut down. I finished the tag off with some little green gem things from Queen & Co.
My last tag is a bit more busy. It features the chips and hot dog from "Better Together" which made me think of picnics! I used a tag from one of those tag stacks that a friend gave me years ago. My chips, I tried to color like a bag of Sour Cream & Onion, they sounded good that day! The hot dog bun is actually in the colors I would use for skin with a bit of E71 added in. I put the two buddies onto a gold glitter oval, the banner is actually from a kit, there is something else on the back but the plain white side was perfect for the sentiment. I added a few sequins from Kindred Stamps.
I hope you've enjoyed my take on Better Together, you can grab you own set from Beth Duff Designs and use coupon code "Rachel" for 10% off your first purchase!
